Pasta Recipes

 Have you ever needed ideas to make something for lunch or dinner? Well look no further. Everyone likes some kind of pasta whether it’s mac and cheese, spaghetti, or chicken Alfredo. Pasta had been around since the 4th century B.C.

The first recipe is called Chicken spaghetti. The ingredients are Spaghetti noodles, cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, cheddar cheese, American cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt. First cook pasta according to package directions. After draining noodles and return them to the pot. Next in a separate bowl whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder and seasoned salt. After that stir in the cheeses and the chicken. Next, add the mixture to the pasta and mix well. Then scoop the spaghetti into a casserole dish  and press down gently. Finally bake until melted and browning on top.

The next recipe is 3 cheese chicken Alfredo. The ingredients for this recipe is Penn or elbow macaroni, Alfredo sauce, sour cream, ricotta cheese, garlic clove, chopped cooked chicken, eggs, Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and mozzarella cheese. First preheat the oven to 350. Then lightly spray a 9 by 13-inch pan with cooking spray. Then cook the pasta, strain it, and return it to the pot. Then stir together all ingredients except mozzarella cheese. Then spread the mixture into the backing dish. After that sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese. Finally bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until the cheese begins to bubble.

The next recipe is million-dollar mac and cheese. The ingredients are cavatappi noodles, whole milk, half & half, unsalted butter, all purpose flour, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey jack cheese, shredded gruyere cheese, sour cream, Dijon mustard, seasoning salt, dried parsley, black, pepper, panko bread crumbs, dried parsley, kosher salt. First preheat the oven to 350. Using a pastry brush, in a 4-quart casserole dish, butter the bottom and the sides of the dish with 2 tablespoons of room temperature butter. Then in a large pot boil the noodles until they are al dente. After that drain the noodles and return them to the pot. Then start making a cheese sauce. Next in a large saucepan, on medium-high heat melt ¼ cup of butter. Then add flour and whisk until all the flour has been incorporated with the melted butter. Slowly pour in whole milk and half & half while whisking. Add your Dijon mustard, seasoning salt, dried parsley, and black pepper to your milk mixture. Continue to cook the sauce for 6 to 8 minutes. Once the milk mixture has thickened, turn off the heat and add your cheeses. Then pour the cheese sauce in your pot and stir. Then put the noodles into a casserole dish and add 1 ½ cup of gruyere cheese on top. Then add cream to the top. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Maddy Shoop and Emma Nunamaker were asked, “What is your favorite pasta recipe ?” Maddy replied with, “Chicken Alfredo.” Emma replied with, “Chicken Alfredo.” The next question was, “what is your favorite type of pasta noodle?” Maddy replied with “penne noodles.” Emma replied with “bow tie.”

The average amount of past people consume each year is 9kg. There are more then 600 different shapes of pasta. So pick your favorite and get cooking.
