Known as one of the best seasons of the year, Fall is the season that brings the most events such as pumpkin patches, fall festivals, and so much more. Renshaw’s Farm is one of the biggest fall attractions in Armstrong County. This year, Renshaw’s is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October 11 AM-6PM. They provide hayrides, corn pits, a maze, an animal park, mini golf, concessions stand etc., for an entry fee of $8 a person. They also have a country store that sells baked goods and candles. When interviewing Laykin Pierce about her favorite thing at Renshaw’s last year, she replied with, “The one thing I really liked about Renshaw’s was the selection of candles they had at the country store.” Also, this year Kittanning will be holding their first annual Fall Festival. This event will be held at the Kittanning Riverfront Friday, October 21st to Sunday, October 23rd. They will be featuring live music and entertainment, hayrides, a petting zoo, craft and food venders and more. When asked if she’s excited about the fall fest, Jazmin Lentz replied with, “I can’t wait to attend this year’s fall fest for the good food.” If students are looking something a little more spooky, Scary Harrys Haunted Trails are opening late September to late October with an entry fee of $20 per person. This event is hosted in Homer city PA. When looking for exciting fall events to attend to, these events are something to consider looking into to.
