Like any skill, creating unique nail designs takes practice. I started playing around with different ways to do my nails when I was in 7th<\/sup> grade. My mom has always done her own nails and one day when I was home by myself, I decided that I wanted to try too. My first time trying acrylics didn’t go very well. I couldn’t even get it to stay on the brush and after that I didn’t try it again until a few years later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My grandma took me to Mrs. Atherton to get my hair done for my first day of high school and during that appointment she convinced me to go to Lenape for Cosmetology. My entire freshman year I practiced doing acrylics and it was then that I discovered my love for nails and art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout being in Cosmetology school, I have learned to prep and sculpt acrylic nails. My sets can now last 4 weeks without lifting or coming off. Now I work at The Nail Parlor <\/strong>and I’m doing what I love and I’m still learning along the way. I still have a love for doing nails and nail art and I don’t think that will ever go away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asking a past client about the nails I did for her, Calia Bennett, <\/strong> said that, \u201cI loved the design you did for me and how the nails didn\u2019t pop off right away. Usually, my nails fall off in 2 to 3 weeks, but yours stayed on for over a month.\u201d When I asked another past client about what they thought of their nails she said, \u201cThe nails were nice quality and the art you did was amazing, and I would definitely come back.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
