March is a month that has a lot of folklore attached to it due to it being the beginning of a new season. Whether someone believes in folklore or not it is an interesting topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

March is often associated with rebirth, renewal, and transition. This is because spring is coming. The symbols of March include bloodstone, jonquil, shamrock, rabbit, lamb, and lion. March is also the month of fertility for women which is why March is also women’s history month.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of March’s folklore comes from the weather. The most popular saying is when march comes in like a lion it will go out like a lamb. This means that the weather is very harsh at the beginning of the month it will be more subtle towards the end. There are many more weather-related folklores that have to do with predicting what is to come in the following months like an early spring or a hot summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asking Race Prince<\/strong>, a student in Auto Tech he said that he does not believe in folklore. When asking Lillian Milltio<\/strong> she said that she thinks some folklore is accurate and interesting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Folklore is everywhere whether you realize it or not. Most people participate in it such as shamrocks being good luck, if you believe that then you follow folklore. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
