The resurrection of Jesus, as portrayed in the New Testament of the Bible, serves as the foundation for Christian religions. As a result, Easter is an important event in the Christian calendar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"536\" height=\"509\" src=\"https:\/\/lenapetechtimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lenapetechtimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image.png 536w, https:\/\/lenapetechtimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-300x285.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 536px) 100vw, 536px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The New Testament claims that Jesus was imprisoned by the Roman government primarily because he declared himself to be the &#8220;Son of God.&#8221; Historians debate this motive, with some suggesting that the Romans saw him as a danger to the empire.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some homes, a figure known as the Easter Bunny visits and gives children chocolate eggs and candies on Easter Sunday morning. Typically, these candies are presented in an Easter basket. While some historians believe the Easter Bunny tradition came to America with German immigrants in the 1700s, its exact origins are unknown.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During an interview with <strong>Damian Wadding, <\/strong>a Lenape Tech student from ADT, said that, \u201cI usually link easter with the resurrection of Jesus.
