September 2021 Apple Event

Every September Apple has a live event launching their newest and most updated products. We Apple fans never know what to expect from them but here are the rumors of new products for this year’s event! Apple has already revealed multiple new upgrades for this year, but from what cnet has to say (https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/apple-event-2021-when-will-we-see-the-iphone-13-and-what-else-can-we-expect/0 we could see the debut for the iPhone 13 variations, Apple Watch Series 7, AirPods 3, iPad Mini 6, ninth generation iPads and more! 

There is a possibility that this event will allow live guests to watch but only under strict mandates to do the covid 19 virus although it’s rumored it will just be over the internet like last year’s event. Apple already had an event in April this year where we got the iPad upgrades, purple iPhone 12, colorful iMacs, and the new AirTags!  

The new iPhone 13 is rumored to have 4 variations! The regular 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max! The public is not aware of when these will be released but rumors are late September- early October! The rumored pricing of these new iPhones is supposed to be as follows. The iPhone 13 Mini will have a starting price of $699. The iPhone 13 $799, 13 Pro $999, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max with a price of $1,099! These prices will go up depending on how many gigabytes you get! 

I’m personally excited to get my hands on the new phone but let’s ask some other Lenape students what device they currently have and their opinion on the products is and if they are planning to get one! The first student I interviewed was Ken Klasnick from Construction Trades! His response was, “I do want to get the new iPhone. I currently have the iPhone XR and I want to upgrade” The next student I interviewed was Ashley Kijowski from ADT! Ashleys response was, “I curently have the iPhone XR and I am loving the new colors of the iPhone so I’m planning on getting a new one this year!”
