New Teacher

This school year Lenape welcomes a new teacher. Her name is Ms. Goldinger. When asked why she chose to be a physical education teacher she replied, “I am a gym teacher because health and fitness is my passion.” Her hobbies are to work with her horses, ride her dirtbike, hike, and exercise. She also goes to the creek in her free time. She was asked if she has any pets and she replied, “ I have 3 cats, a dog, a horse, and a donkey.” Ms. Goldinger was asked where she worked before Lenape and responded that she worked for a cyber school as a high school special education teacher and was a community health educator at a non-profit previously. She chose to come to this school because she wanted to be a Health and PE teacher and Lenape ended up being the best fit for her. She went to Kittanning High School which is now closed. Ms. Goldinger was also asked what advice she would give to each one of her students and she replied with, “Try to set yourself up for the real world.” She also explained that out of all her teaching time her favorite teaching experience is working here right now as a gym teacher. She also was asked other questions just to help everyone get to know her. She was asked about her favorite genre of music and she said that she listens to little bits of everything. Also her favorite restaurant to eat at is Real Boys Tap Room because they always have great specials. If you see Ms. Goldinger walking the halls of Lenape Tech be sure to give her a hello.
