Nintendo is no stranger to making great games. The original Splatoon and Splatoon 2 were great successes for their respective consoles, being the WiiU and the Nintendo Switch respectfully. At the time of writing this, Splatoon 3’s release date is nearly upon us. Along with it brings new characters, weapons, and excited fans. Here’s a few things inking fans need to know before jumping into the turf war.
Splatoon 3 will be released on September 9th, 2022. Just like other Switch games before it, fans can get their brightly colored tentacles on the game at midnight. The online servers will be up at midnight too. There are also preorder bonuses for some stores.
Just like its predecessors, Splatoon 3 has new idols that the character will meet during the game. However, unlike the games before it, there are three idols instead of two. Shiver is a octoling with violet hair who is said to be aloof and haughty. Frye is a chaotic yellow haired girl who loves dancing and treasure hunting. Finally Big Man is a stingray with a happy smile and loves fashion. They make up the trio known as Deepcut.
