Traveling in Fall

Fall is the best time of year to travel. It’s the perfect time when it’s not too hot, but also not so cold that one would rather be cozy by a fire rather than travel. Depending on the destination it could be the best time to go.

Some people travel just to get a break from their life while others travel to learn things by going to a historical place. For example, some people go to places like Salem or Dracula’s castle. While other people just go to the Bahamas or Jamaica to enjoy the sand and sun. The only downside to traveling somewhere warm in the wintertime is that the locals are used to it being their “cold weather season”, so there might not be as much stuff to do.

Salem, Massachusetts would be an interesting place to travel to during fall. It would be cool seeing all the history there and they always decorate for Halloween. Going to haunted places would also be good to travel to in fall. Some haunted places to travel to include Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle, the Queen Mary ship, the Conjuring house, or even the Stanley hotel.

Some people aren’t into going to spooky places. Other places like the Bahamas, an out west trip in the USA, or even Jamaica could be an option. It’s nice to go to these types of places during fall. It is not as hot but still warm enough to go out and enjoy the weather.

When asked if they traveled in fall Madison Croyle, a cosmetology student, answered, “Other than my family traveling for horse shows, we normally go to Myrtle Beach for Thanksgiving.” When Natilie Kunts, a cosmetology student, was asked if she travels in fall she replied with, “I don’t travel in fall, but if I did I would go to Hawaii.”

Traveling is different for each person. Some people travel to warm places with an ocean to get away from their everyday life. While other people travel to learn about the world and its cultures. No matter what kind of traveler people are they all have one thing in common, they get experiences from their trips.
